The great Indian Litterbug-My Small Take

India is a country where we have numerous laws and more than those laws we have even more followers but fortunately to say we all have unique talent and as per our birth traits we have habit of making our own laws in our own sense. Well it’s not that we are not literate; currently 60% population is well aware of the bookish knowledge and we all call them “Bookworms. When these bookworms try to implement their psychology in our real society we tell them-- “Abey Tu Rehne De” or sometimes- “You nerd…. Ch**** is back” so somewhere they also turn or dilute their personality with the majority of litterbugs.

“Station is you property, keep the station and coaches clean, do not throw wrappers or fruits etc. on the platform or inside the train. Please cooperate with us and keep the premises clean, Thank you.”

Vikrant- Haahaha- Hey, Ankit station is your property then let’s uses it properly. 

Ankit- Oh fine then let’s take this fan first so atleast we can sell it for 500 rupees, Not bad... hahaha!!! 

This was the scenario I saw when I was traveling in Borivali fast train with my husband. Those irritating young college going students were making lots of noise and continuously were making fun of railway announcements. I am quite aggressive in nature so couldn’t stop myself and told “excuse me, station is your property and as you said you want to sell some fans of this coach just for 5oo rupees so my humble suggestion to you, do repair the third and fourth fan of this compartment as it is not working properly- after all its your property and you should use it completely ;) ;) ;)”. They just smiled at me and left the compartment. I saw some sorts of mere guilt on their face and mere shame was also present inside their mind.

Santacruz- Juhu Beach, Mumbai (Maharashtra):-

“Momy I want to do Susu… I can’t control where to go?? Areyy…Beta… huh.. do one thing go near the see and do there. No one will say anything and won’t come to know also”. “Aur Tu Waise Bhi Bachcha Hai Koi Kuch Nahi Bolega”…. Huh like typical Indian mother she gave what an awesome suggestion to her child and when in future these children do not become law abiding citizens then we complain to thousands of things instead of our own faults.

Well, this was height and by that lady’s grace  :P  :P :P I heard it and then – 

“Beta, do one thing your Mom is carrying half empty bottle of Bisleri water so you do one thing refill your Mom’s bottle by your SUSU, no one will object it and she also won’t say anything”. “Waise Bhi Aap Unke Hi Bachche Ho, Toh Apka Susu Toh Unke Liye Gangajal Hi Hoga Na???..I replied to that child politely and humbly. Mom and her child remain succumbed for a moment and due to humiliation didn’t even prefer to have an eye contact with me.  

Save our environment and do not let these half educated people to play with it. Living in a clean environment is our birth right… :) :) :) :) raise your voice with the charm of your laugh……

My Life in Bangalore with Quikr

It was January, 2015’s first day when my Law firm’s HR department informed me that I have to shift to Bangalore for whole year. I was surprised!! Lots of thing was moving on in my mind- How will I survive over there?? Why am I going to Bangalore? Can’t they rethink on their decision?? But I do not have any other choice except to accept their decision. So at last on 5^th of January I got my Bangalore ticket and other relevant documents pertaining to my one year employment details and my accommodation details etc.

On 6^th of January, 2015; I was in Bangalore and I was not happy for being there but as we human desires are always composed of thousands materials and every human is greedy and materialistic in some aspect of life. I saw my residence place where I had to survive for whole year. Flat area was pretty good but I did not like the furniture or you can say it was not proper furniture also, as lots of them were in bad condition; and bed was not proper enough to have sound sleep as well. I opened my laptop and started searching for some good furniture websites where I can get something on reasonable cost; then suddenly I saw that there is something called bangalore.quikr.com where you can buy and sell on reasonable prices. It is just like Quiker Mumbai, only city sorting difference is there.

Then I saw an advertisement on that website; I was shocked as the bed selling price was just Rs. 6,500/- I placed my order immediately and contacted to that relevant person to get that bed easily. I spoke to seller on phone and asked about the condition and bargained a bit; and after so much efforts at last he agreed to sell on Rs. 6000/-.

On fourth day something I got the delivery and at last I was happy with my new good conditioned bed which was far better than the existing bed in my flat. Gradually I thought to sell my remaining furniture on bangalore.quikr.com and bought some good conditioned furniture on reasonable price. I explored Bangalore during my official holidays and to be very honest I liked this city a lot. The culture, food and lot of things were not similar to Mumbai but it had its own beauty in its own culture. 

Products which I bought on Quikr was cheap in sense of money but when I saw the quality after using it for some months, I really liked it. It was nothing like you will feel that you using second hand stuff. So in the end I believed that the website is trustworthy and one can believe on its advertisement blindly as the offers and advertisements are generally authentic one; and they were not fake in nature as there are so many websites upon which you can not trust so much. Indeed Quikr made my Bangalore visit even more interesting.

Valentines with him, for him…..

My honey bunny who is the most adventurous guy on this earth and what could be the most liking gift for him?? Well, the same thing I was keep on thinking  but as a student I was without good budget  to afford expensive gifts for him.

We both were student and we both had seen shortage of money. I remember when my pocket money used to be 50 rupees per day and his was not even that. It was nothing like that we were from poor family it was just that the accountability system was there at our respective homes but yet, I wanted to have an excellent bash on Valentines but unfortunately to say pocket money was not supportive one.

Then suddenly just one day before Valentines in a morning at 6.55 am; morning was too frosty to see anything accurately and I was moving ahead towards my college then suddenly I saw glimpse of some sorts of lights but was getting late for my lectures so preferred to ignore.

Just in a while I felt someone is following me and I got scared when I just turned and saw a small fairy with golden wings. I was totally shocked, gently I rubbed my eyes and then opened still she was there. I asked myself “am I dreaming or what??” I asked myself “Well…. No, I don’t think so that you are dreaming but you do not have any option rather than to believe on my presence”. Fairy replied and  out of curiosity I preferred to ask her some more questions.

                   

“Are you a ff……….. Fairy, which I have seen in our books and heard in fairy tales? Are you that same one??”  I asked her hurriedly.  “Yes, I am that same one about which you used to ask to your parents everyday when you were just 5”.

“Then how come suddenly today you felt to meet me?? Do you even know that I cried a lot when my parents told me that you do not exist in this world and how can you be so shorter than me I have heard generally fairies are tall and beautiful; you are beautiful but not tall” I asked her eagerly, so many questions were running in my mind and I wanted to ask her everything; I wanted to tell her that please stay with me forever like "Son Pari" TV series but after a jiffy she interrupted and said “don’t you wanna spend awesome Valentines with your Sweet Heart?? she asked me in a a very low voice. "Yes we want to but we are running out of pocket money, so it’s okay for now; after getting a good job we both will celebrate together” I told her and then once again she interrupted and didn't listen to me and just kept a white feather on my eyes and then……………………………………….

“You are here, oh my god!! What I am seein...g. I love you my baby and you know I missed you a lot but what is this all dream about?? I do not understand anything?? Who is this fairy?? And how did I come here??

 Shhh.................. he locked my lips with his kiss; gradually he hugged me tightly and held her fingers on my waist, slowly & softly kissed my shoulder; I felt a sudden freak in my body.

It was an amazing time of my life then fairy looked at me and said “I am really sorry my darling, you always waited for me but I couldn't come to you when you were expecting me so badly but today am giving my magic band (Magic Power band), tie it on your hand for a day and ask a wish to make your Valentines the most amazing one; and go enjoy your Valentines with your darling honey bunny” and in a moment she was invisible to my eyes.

Now it was my own wonderland where I wanted myself to look like a princess and my boy as a prince charming. We actually dressed like some kingdom’s prince-princess and then I saw a golden horse cart running towards us and politely was asking us to have a ride on a white moon. It was an amazing ride which we both never had before.

Twinkle stars were singing a beautiful song for us then it was indeed an inkling given by cupid to come even more closely and it was a time we smooched for a longer time continuously.

Then it was a dinner time and regarding food my sweet heart is very selective and I knew he likes royal food so with the help of my magic band I got 56 bhojans (Chhappan Bhojan-one of the royal Thali in olden days)

and we danced for few minutes quietly and silently-feeling each other’s soul. That smile which we had on our faces I wanted to capture for whole life and then with the help of my magic band I bought a camera from Baggout.

A day was about to get over and I was wondering how fast this day went on and we were still embracing each other. A day got over, fairy appeared and asked me “now it’s moving time, as per the promise I made your Valentines remarkable one now what you both wish for??”

“I want him till eternity” I said.....

And “I want to be with her till the reincarnation of my body-soul....... till the last breath of my each life and after my death.

First Interview of my life….. #WillYouShave??

“Amarchand Mangaldas”, one of the leading law firms in India came to my college placements to recruit young lawyers. Their pay scale was also one of the attracting aspects of our college placements. Almost 100 candidates applied to get into this firm and they barely shortlisted 10 students from our batch among which 6 were boys and 4 were girls. “Government Law College” one of the prestigious law institution which provides great opportunity to its students in different ways and placement was also one of the great opportunity which we had that year. I was one of the candidates who got shortlisted in that list with remaining 9 students.

 Samarth Surana, was one of the brilliant student from our college and everyone was scared as he was also with us for this interview. Though he was brilliant and his intellectuals were extremely higher than anyone else but Rahul Jetly from our batch was also one of the competitors. I was not counting my name at all because I already had lots of doubts on myself if I can get that opportunity and I was in satisfactory situation only by seeing my name in shortlist. Indeed it was a great challenge for all of us and intellectuals are not the only thing which generally law firms see in a good candidate; they do consider social and cultural aspects of candidates as well.

At last the day came when we all scheduled to reached at our interview premises by 11 in the morning half & hour in advance before the interview schedule. We all were nervous and were sharing some tips with each other by assuming if that can work out at last moment but destiny is also something which plays a vital role ne everyone’s life. Alphabetically my number was 9^th one and I had to wait for long time. After 8^th candidate H.R. called out my name and I stood and moved ahead to interview room. During my interview they commented a lot on our college as they find us indiscipline and less presentable in terms of looks; I was sitting just in front of them couldn’t deny or affirmed just nodded slightly and indirectly intimated my intention to move on with my interview.

I finished my interview and those brilliant boys also finished their interview and I was expecting one of them to become their choice but then the I recalled interview panel’s words as they were not happy with personality presentation because many boys from my batch were not properly shaved; infect they do not like to shave at all. However the 10^th number guy was also from my batch and I was not known him so well but when I just had a glance at him I noticed he was properly well shaved. I just forgot my interview for a while because I wanted to know the results H.R. girl told us to wait for half & hour then interview panel will communicate their decision to us.

Almost after 45 minutes I saw that same H.R. girl is coming towards us and she announced that 10^th number guy who went for an interview in the end and in addition to that;

interview panel also came outside to congratulate him personally and they appreciated his personality and they also mentioned that groomed face give good impact on any interview and they suggested remaining boys to have proper shave while going for any interview and panel wished all of us best wishes for our future life and we moved ahead to our respective destinations.

That was a day I understood groomed face plays an important role in addition to anything else. So guys you should not waste more time have clean shave and rock in your life. :) :) :) :)

“It’s okay! Don’t feel bad I told you to shave today before your conference it create a good impact but you never listen to me….. Huh,” My husband who is one of the lazy men on this earth. I don’t know what god thought before to make him. Hmmmmm well that’s not my concern  I do suggest him always when he goes to office without proper shave but as usual he never listens to me. Man with proper shave always look perfect from bollywood star to normal corporate employees groomed face always create a great impact on one’s personality.

My husband who is one of the most senior associate in one of the leading corporate and Yes, his intellectuals are sufficient enough to provide him good opportunities anywhere but as I always suggest him to make his look proper but he always refuses my suggestion as he doesn't believe in outer beauty.

I honestly do not believe in looking good or something but when it comes to personality then I do believe that person atleast should be presentable enough and when a man is with proper clean shave then no doubt he compete others in all aspects. My husband who was not clean shaved during his corporate conference lost some sorts of attention from other senior most directors he found himself neglected due to his unshaven look. He was feeling so much pain that he couldn't resist himself to share the same with me. I saw his eyes that had some sorts of uncomfortable and negative vibes which were not allowing him to forget some unwanted events of that corporate conference.

“No, it not time to see him in pain it’s a proper time to help him to improve his personality” I told myself and started working on it. I know my husband very well he is very pious person by heart and character but this world require something more than pious character and clean heart. So at last I decided to do quick shopping for my husband and I started to think on which my husband should work first on priority. His beard was the first thing which I thought in first instance and I opened my laptop and clicked on FlipKart.com which is one of the most talk website famous for online shopping. I ordered one Gillette Shaving Kit at Rs. 990/- only and requested to wrap it in gift wrappers as I wanted to give it to my husband and I ordered one red roses & chocolate bouquet from ferns & petals to make my beloved hubby’s mood bit better. After that corporate conference’s incident he was not behaving properly and some kind of lack of confidence I saw in his activities.

At 10 pm he reached and without even having a single glance on me he entered inside the bedroom and roughly asked for dinner I preferred to ignored his rough behavior and held in my arms and gifted him that beautiful bouquet after seeing that he atleast smiled a bit and then I gave him Gillette Shaving Kit after seeing that he said “are you making fun of my looks?? Or you want to prove yourself right”…. I ignored all his rude wording and requested him to shave properly once by giving him an indirect assurance if in case it doesn't work I couldn't  force him to do anything related to his looks.

Somehow I convinced him and he used Gillette Shaving Kit and cleaned his beard. It was I guess for the second time I was seeing his groomed face; last time I saw him when he came to talk to my parents for permitting us to get married. He was looking damn handsome; I couldn't even ignore him from my eyes for a second also. Continuously my eyes were looking at him and once again like olden days I became bit possessive.

He left for office at 8 in the morning he was looking damn handsome and his groomed face was shining so much that I whispered in his ear that “don’t let girls flirt with you, I am jealous today and bit possessive too; do come early today” And he just smiled at me and left for his office.

Afternoon at 4 he called me up he was in good mood I felt for a while then suddenly “you were write my baby, today I felt different and good behavior from my senior most managers and they were really appreciating me, I received good comments from female staff too ;) ;)” he said and hanged the phone. I was really happy and I saw an amazing positive vibes in my husband which he lost few days ago without shaven face.
