Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a university
which is famous for its extraordinary educational system that always comes in
the news headlines for its exceptional pace towards the growth of educational
system in India. This time LPU campus was honoured by the Hon’ble Prime
Minister (PM), Mr. Roosevelt Skerrit of the Commonwealth of Dominica.
The Hon’ble PM attended
the 6th convocation ceremony of LPU that was held on 23rd
February, 2016 at the University Campus “Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium”.
The Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Mr.
Roosevelt Skerrit, chaired the sixth convocation of the Lovely Professional
University (LPU).
Convocation ceremony is indeed like a dream come true
in the lifetime of a student that encourages them to perform even better for
their bright future; an educational institution should not avoid making it
memorable period in their students’ life and Yes, LPU made it memorable for
their students.

During the occasion, Prime Minister Skerrit encouraged the
students by quoting some enthusiastic statements, "Believe in yourself,
your remarkable country and the creator. Step out with great force to face the
world on positive notes; you, too, can become PM, CEO or a leading global
entrepreneur. By your great doings, you too, can encourage and motivate the
young generation next to you." It was very zealous for students that
turned the atmosphere with full of positive vibes among them.
No doubt that LPU’s initiative will also help our
country for formulation of healthy relations with foreign countries. I believe
that the visit of Hon’ble PM Skerrit will surely depict a positive indication of
our country in terms of friendly relations with other countries.
The Hon’ble PM also expressed his wholehearted feelings
for being a part of 6th concoction ceremony of LPU. Throughout the
event he was encouraging the crowd of students and other dignitaries that made
the convocation as one of the legendry event in the history of educational system
of India.

LPU is progressing at an exceptional rate among the top
competitive universities of the world. LPU always have shown a different scenario
to the world and exceptionally have turned successful for the path which it has
chosen for its students.
From Campus to syllabus, hostel to food, location to hygiene,
infrastructure to professors and convocation
to quality placement it has proved that they stand as one of the creator of
future that creates a wonderful future of students.
